In joining the team, my hope is to partner and lead the organization in a manner that supports the mission.

I knew that my purpose in life was to share my experiences, battles, and achievements with others who are or had been in similar situations.

When helping friends in recovery, I let them know the importance of being honest with yourself and others. I personally know, this is not easy, but it is possible.

My role at Here Tomorrow involves bridging the gap by swiftly connecting our friends with outpatient therapy.

A motto I live by today, 'Be a soldier for goodness to get to the light.'

Being part of this mission is an honor I feel every day.

I want to support the hopeless with kindness & understanding, knowing those gifts helped me when I needed it most. Asking for help can be a hard first step, but we are here with an abundance of help and hope.

Mistakes are but stepping stones on the journey of self-improvement.

I am deeply passionate about advocacy, healing, and supporting others in their journey through life’s challenges. My experiences have shaped me into a compassionate voice for recovery, mental health awareness, and the power of perseverance and love.

My passion for suicide prevention originates from a deeply personal place.

I want to pay it forward by doing the same that others did for me; help others find a path to recovery.

I am a firm believer in telling someone, "I’ve been there."

Somewhere along our path someone taught us that we had to earn love, but that is simply not true you deserve love because you exist.

I love talking to people about their struggles, empathizing, and reminding them that we are all worthy of fulfillment and happiness.

I believe recovery is a real possibility for people who have the courage to speak up, reach out for help, and who take an active role in their recovery.

I've learned that recovery is a journey - one that takes time, support, and self-compassion. I'm here to walk with others through their own struggles, offering hope that things can get better, and that their story matters.

I have experienced… being homeless for 5 years, living with anxiety, and other childhood trauma, which I am always willing to share if it can help someone else.

I have a passion and love for helping others.

I try to inspire hope by sharing my story; a story which didn’t end because I found a way to keep moving forward.

I inspire hope by being an example of hope.

Together, we can save lives and create a future where no one has to suffer in silence.

Through sharing my story, I hope to create a space where others, especially my fellow first responders, can begin to heal. The power of vulnerability, connection, and support can break the silence and stigma surrounding mental health.

You never know what journey someone is on, so be kind.

I have always wanted to give others the help they didn’t even realize they deserved.

As a teenager, navigating life is scary, and uncertain. The cool part is you don't have to do it alone.

My experiences have equipped me with valuable insights and a personal philosophy: to lead by example and show the possibilities of positive change.

I want to help others discover the strength they have within, because that was what was done for me.

I love being able to be there for our friends and help them feel welcome and safe in our Meeting Space. 

I had a family member die to suicide in 2024, and if there was a place like this in Nebraska, I believe he would still be with us today.

I feel so close to what this mission is trying to accomplish for people. I really love helping people feel welcomed into our space and not to feel judged to be seeking help for their needs.

We work together gaining perspective and understanding; together we explore options that will meet the individual’s goals.

My experience with depression, anxiety, and grief showed me how broken the mental healthcare system is and sparked a passion to do something about it.

Seeing firsthand how our services can make a difference has motivated me to share this mission and broaden our reach.

Day in and day out, Here Tomorrow plays a pivotal role for those feeling hopeless like I did.

We just need to listen, feel heard, and to put time between a thought and an action.

Much like Here Tomorrow, Dr. Andrews’ work is focused on driving innovation, improving access to care, and advancing community health outcomes in Jacksonville.

I believe Here Tomorrow is changing lives and a product of the Greater force that we all need to aid us on our life’s journey. I am excited to be a part of this mission.

When I learned of Here Tomorrow, I knew that finally there is a light at the end of the tunnel. I’m honored to be a part of saving and improving lives.

Here Tomorrow’s “now” solution to provide immediate and ongoing help for those contemplating suicide is a game changer.

As a psychiatrist for 20+ years, I've seen several lives lost while people wait weeks or months for mental health care. That's why I'm proud to serve on the board of Here Tomorrow, where we're revolutionizing access to mental health support.

I’m incredibly grateful for the innovative work Here Tomorrow is doing not just to provide immediate support for those in need, but for the wrap-around support provided to families and caregivers.

I've found that Here Tomorrow's local approach has made an incalculable difference in the lives of so many people.

Gary would not talk to a psychiatrist. Gary would not talk to a therapist. Gary would talk to someone who would say: ‘Me too. Here’s where I am. I understand.’

My passion is to help those who suffer with mental illness and to save lives!

Vulnerability is strength, not weakness. A powerful connection can be formed when the 'helpers' admit to needing help themselves at times, and through those connections, lives can be saved.

People can and do recover, but they need the necessary hope, education, resources, and a supportive community to do so.
