Not everyone who wants to help others is looking for employment at Here Tomorrow. Our Peer Support Certification training is for individuals who want to deepen their understanding of peer recovery support and earn their Certified Recovery Peer Specialist (CRPS) credential.

This training does not require employment with Here Tomorrow and does not imply a job offer. It is a standalone educational pathway.

Who This Training Is For

  • Have lived experience with mental health or substance use recovery
  • Want to support others as a peer in your community or organization
  • Are exploring a future in peer support or behavioral health
  • Need CRPS certification for professional or volunteer roles elsewhere

  • Nonprofits, schools, or outreach programs

What You’ll Learn

The CRPS course covers the foundations of ethical, effective peer support, including:

  • The role and responsibilities of peer recovery specialists
  • Boundaries, ethics, and confidentiality
  • Recovery principles and person-centered support
  • Communication, advocacy, and systems navigation
  • Using lived experience in a supportive, non-harmful way

The curriculum is approved and aligned with Florida Certification Board standards.
