Randi Glossman is a dedicated law enforcement commander with over 32 years of experience leading police operations and fostering organizational health. Currently serving as a Commander at the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office, she leads the agency’s comprehensive wellness program, where she develops strategic vision and infrastructure to support more than 3,300 employees. Her work focuses on evidence-based initiatives in mental health, physical fitness, resilience, peer support, and critical incident response.
Throughout her career, Randi has demonstrated exemplary leadership in diverse operational roles, including serving as an Assistant Chief and Commander of one of Jacksonville’s largest patrol districts. She is known for her effective crisis negotiation skills, having led the Crisis Negotiation Unit during SWAT callouts, and for her commitment to professional development, evidenced by her role as a coordinator for the Critical Incident Stress Management Team. Randi is also a passionate educator, teaching the Civilian Response to an Active Shooter Event (CRASE) to over 3,000 civilians and mentoring personnel through her extensive operational background.
Randi holds a Master of Science in Criminology from Indiana State University and a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of North Florida. She is deeply committed to servant leadership, officer wellness, and strengthening public trust through data-driven and community-focused policing strategies.
