When Terrie Andrews, President and CEO of Here Tomorrow, and Megha Parekh, Executive Vice President and Chief Legal Officer of the Jacksonville Jaguars, connected regarding resources for Jaguars employees, a simple but powerful idea emerged: place Here Tomorrow stickers on every bathroom mirror throughout EverBank Stadium, Daily’s Place, and the Miller Electric Center with a QR code that connects fans directly to our no cost, confidential suicide-prevention support.
With over 67,000 seats, EverBank Stadium creates tens of thousands of touchpoints each season. If just 10,000 fans visit the restroom, that’s 10,000 chances to see or scan a sticker.
In Florida, 3,558 people died by suicide in 2023, including 176 adults in Duval County alone.1
“By putting help right where fans already are, we’re creating safe, accessible moments of connection that could offer a lifeline,” said Andrews. “It’s a simple but meaningful step toward preventing suicide one conversation at a time—and we’re grateful to the Jaguars for making this possible for our community.”
“Even through seemingly joyous celebration at a football game or performance, it’s not always easy to identify someone struggling with their mental health,” said Parekh. “As part of our continued efforts to have a positive impact on the community, it is our privilege to serve as a connection between guests at our venues and the resources provided by Here Tomorrow. Seeking help takes strength, and, if we can help bridge that gap to save a life, we will have succeeded.”
