My professional experience includes my study of Healthcare Administration and Policy at the University of Maryland Baltimore. Before moving to the area, I spent time working at Johns Hopkins Hospital in cancer research and University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center.

In Jacksonville, I have invested my career in working in support of adults with disabilities, the Wounded Warrior Project, K9s for Warriors and most recently a role working with the homeless veteran population throughout northeast Florida. Each role aided my growth and development of my passion for serving veterans suffering from “invisible wounds” and inequitable access to care.

My internal beacon always leads to serving those who struggle with mental health needs and my greatest hope is to provide ease of access to care by breaking down barriers.

A motto I live by today, “Be a soldier for goodness to get to the light.”
