After a 20-year career in the Air Force, I faced new challenges navigating my family’s move out of the military community and into a new state. Even though I had my own lived experience with mental health struggles, I was unprepared when my daughter began facing her own mental health issues at a young age. Here Tomorrow provided immediate resources and, most importantly, hope to my family. After taking some time off to focus on my family and find a new norm, I was fortunate enough to join this remarkable team. I love that Here Tomorrow is truly a community-based organization that is working to remove barriers for person-centric care. Being part of a team that believes in more tomorrows for every person has brought a sense of purpose back into my personal and professional life, and I look forward to bringing that to the community.
