Jim Griffis is a dedicated community member with a passion for service. He is deeply committed to the cause of Here Tomorrow, and is grateful for the opportunity to support it. With a background in Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services, he brings a wealth of experience fostering positive relationships and driving impactful initiatives. Jim has been active in local, national, and international mental health projects for over 40 years, demonstrating strong leadership and organizational skills.

Jim’s commitment to suicide prevention is deeply personal. Having experienced the tragic loss of his brother to suicide, he witnessed the profound devastation it caused his family, particularly his mother. This experience fuels his unwavering support for suicide prevention.

Jim’s commitment to inclusivity and enhancing the quality of life for all community members is unwavering. As a member of the Here Tomorrow Advisory Council, he aims to amplify their voices and continue implementing programs that foster a sense of belonging and improve the community’s overall well-being.
