Mental Health Speaker Jacksonville!

Jeff proudly lives in recovery with mental health conditions and loves talking to local community organizations, businesses, and schools on behalf of Here Tomorrow.

He says, being diagnosed with major depression, bi-polar type 2, and PTSD was one of the greatest moments of his life.  It was being diagnosed that he came to realize that all along he was the problem and the source of situations, circumstances, and things that happened in his life.

Jeff described what happened next.  “Mental health became a passion of mine as I acknowledged I was the issue. I accepted it, and I sought help and education. My life has changed because I changed and do the work.”  This is the work and the conversation I love and want to change in the world.

As Director of Business Operations and Technology at Here Tomorrow, Jeff works tirelessly, reaching members of our community with the goal of normalizing the conversation about mental health and letting folks know they can turn to Here Tomorrow for support and assistance.

Jeff also works hard with the Peer Support Professionals to teach and inspire them to be compassionate, empathetic, but to not carry the burden of other people’s darkness.  He loves the work we do and wants to create a model at Here Tomorrow that is carried through communities nationwide.

As a Marine, Jeff was stationed in Jacksonville from 1990 to 1992.  He is happily making Jacksonville his home again after 30 year of being a consultant for mental health.

Jeff is a certified Yoga instructor, single digit handicap golfer, and you can often find him riding his bike through the beach communities and doing yoga on the beach.
